The layering of ply can be used to

good effect when cut at an angle.

Plywood is very good for larger models where strength and wall thicknesses are important.

Thinner 1.0mm or 1.5mm sheets can be used to make strong furniture.

Anything over 1.5mm is best cut using a saw. Glue with PVA.
